When we researched monitors for our first child, we were alarmed at what we discovered. The devices meant to protect our baby were harvesting intimate family moments - bedtime stories, playtime, conversations - and streaming them to servers around the world.
We built Purple Parrot because we knew there had to be a way to have smart features without the stranger danger. Our daughter inspired us to create something better, and now we're sharing it with families everywhere.
With backgrounds spanning CERN, the European Space Agency, and satellite engineering, we brought aerospace-level engineering to solve one of parenting's most overlooked problems.
